Habits that Lower Your Immune System
Eating mostly foods unrecognizable from their source.
Eating a diet filled mainly with red meat.
Reaching for drugs at the slightest hint of an ailment. .
Counting a five-minute stroll to your car as an exercise.
Living like a camel.
Smoke, drink and be merry all days.
Sleeping less than six hours a day.
Bottling up your feelings like a pressure cooker.
Regularly ingesting foods that give you problems.
Feeling stressful constantly and yet doing nothing about it.

Zinnat - Detailed Prescribing Information
Cefuroxime is a second generation parenteral cephalosporin antibiotic that kills a wide variety of bacteria that cause a wide variety of commonly occuring infections. Cefuroxime is given by mouth to treat infections of the upper and lower airways, ears, nose and throat, and skin and soft tissue. It may also be used to treat urinary tract infections, certain sexually-transmitted infections, and Lyme disease.
should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby.
Broad spectrum antibiotics such as cefuroxime may enhance the effect of anticoagulant medicines to prevent blood clots, such as warfarin.
Oral typhoid vaccine (Vivotif) should not be taken until at least three days after you have finished a course of this antibiotic, because the antibiotic could make this vaccine less effective.
Probenecid may increase the blood level of cefuroxime.

During meditation, which Barnes likens to a period of deep rest, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system decreases and the body releases fewer-than-normal stress hormones. "As a result, the vasculature relaxes, blood pressure drops and the heart works less,"

patients who were last treated in a tuberculosis hospital were 13 times as likely to have drug-resistant TB as those who had been treated elsewhere. They likely became infected in the hospitals or were given the wrong drugs. The overuse and misuse of antibiotics is very common in China because it is a way for underfunded hospitals to boost revenue through drug sales

Question:
For a back or sprained ankle, which makes the most sense: heat, ice, or a prescription pain pill?
Answer:
Any time you injure yourself you should always put on ice,” Lucchesi said. “And that's the first 48 hours. Because when you injure yourself your blood supply goes there, it gets swollen... After that if it's a muscle then you can go with heat. And either way you shouldn't do it for too long. You should do it for about 20 minutes, stop, you can do it for another 20 minutes.”

It's not always clear why some kids are "stone formers." There might be lifestyle factors, like getting too little fluid and too much salt. And some researchers have suspected that the rising obesity rate might be leading to a higher incidence of kidney stones in adults and kids alike.
And a study published Wednesday found that children who have had multiple CT scans over time might have a higher-than-normal risk of leukemia or brain cancer.

Healthcare professionals should perform liver enzyme tests before initiating statin therapy in patients and as clinically indicated thereafter. If serious liver injury with clinical symptoms and/or hyperbilirubinemia or jaundice occurs during treatment, therapy should be interrupted. If an alternate etiology is not found, the statin should not be restarted.
Healthcare professionals should follow the recommendations in the lovastatin label regarding drugs that may increase the risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis when used with lovastatin.

Big breasts may be bad for your health, author says
Another culprit behind growing cups is early onset puberty, another precursor for breast cancer
Once a woman develops large breasts, she’s put at a greater risk of pollution exposure. Bigger breasts have a much higher concentration of fatty tissue, and according to Medical Daily, the body stores toxic chemicals in its fat cells. This means big breasts could be storing dangerous compounds such as mercury or chemicals found in pesticides and paints.
To make matters worse, the more these chemicals are stored in the breast tissue, the more likely they are to be transferred into a woman’s breast milk and passed along to her newborn children.

Type 1 diabetes, formerly known as juvenile diabetes, is an autoimmune disorder where the body loses the ability to produce insulin, the hormone that controls the level of sugar in the blood. Type 1 diabetics are insulin dependent while type 2 diabetics in many cases can manage the disease with changes to diet and exercise.
